We do messy church from time to time, sometimes on Saturday morning, sometimes of an evening to coincide with our Rainbow and Brownie packs. They bring siblings and friends along and parents/guardians are invited to stay and help or take part and be messy!
There are things to make, different activities, and usually a story, which we act out together. And vitally, there are snacks and drinks. The whole thing is about 2 hours.
Look out for our next messy church. We are hoping to mark the centenary of the end of WW1, and possibly another session around Christmas.
